"A lovely two week family holiday in a beautiful spot with great amenities.
A visit to Lascaux caves was a highlight not to be missed. The market in Perigueux on a Wednesday and Saturday morning is a great sight and seeing Chateau Monbazillac.
The local restaurant at Jaure is highly recommended. The boys had a great time with the pool and table tennis etc and we met some lovely guests who helped to make it a great holiday."

The attention to detail here is second to none. The place is quite simply a slice of French heaven. The flowers, the pool, the dogs, bunny, croissants, wine etc, etc.

"My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Gites Boutique and stayed one week in France.. Our four nights at Gites Boutique literally made our entire trip and the owners Mike and Mandy were the nicest and most thoughtful people. The Gite was amazingly comfortable with stunning country views and every little detail taken care of including great coffee for the morning, wine, body lotions etc... the bed was unbelievably comfortable! We made use of the pool and brand new jacuzzi where one evening we relaxed and watched the stars with a glass of fizz (heaven!!)... Mike and Mandy made us feel so welcome and really took care of us with some very special touches, like fresh bread in the morning as we had arrived late and one evening they had even sourced local oysters for us as it's one of our favs... We will definitely be back!"

"One of the things I love most on these holidays is to be able to look out over the hills as the sun sets and the view from these cottages is truly beautiful - gazing southwest as the sun goes down. The gite is beautifully fitted out with plenty of space for the three of us and we were every comfortable throughout our stay. There are many thoughtful touches within the gite including a welcome pack - and also around the grounds to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Matters are arranged so everyone has their privacy but there are communal areas too if you fancy company.
Mike and Mandy were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. In particular they looked after my mother who departed later than ourselves.
Much to do in the locality with good local walking. Bergerac is a gem. I'm sure we will be back."

"A fantastic week staying in "The Cottage" with my husband and our 16 month old. The pool was a welcome sight when the temperature got to 36 degrees! Bergerac and Perigueux were equally as pretty. "Gites Boutique could not have been better to celebrate Grandad's and Nanny's significant birthdays.
The warm welcome signaled a wonderful week for us all. The grandchildren were seldom out of the pool, out of the tipi or simply running around playing with each other.
Stable End, The Cottage and The Bread Oven suited the size of our group and being able to have our lunch and dinner together in The Lounge (the large converted barn) was a bonus.
We visited pretty villages, two castles, went canoeing and ate out both at lunchtime and in the evening in order to give the grandchildren experience of the real France.

Stable End was the most perfect holiday base for exploring. Wonderful accommodation, powerful shower and coffee in the café.

The Bread Oven has been a perfect "home" for our weeks stay. The arrival to such a lovely welcome. Those touches of the "welcome hamper' and even our names on the chalk board. The grounds were lovely including the spectacular barn where our kids spent time playing in... The pool and toys were wonderful and we spent everyday in it. Michael & Mandy are fabulous owners, attentive to all our needs making sure we had an amazing time. We have explored the local area and would reccommend Perigueux for beautiful old streets and a lovely atmosphere.

"There are so many compliments - where to begin...
Gites Boutique is the perfect place to disappear from the chaos of everyday life.
"The Cottage" was perfect in every sense for us - space, privacy and quaint. The garden is the ideal spot to view the beautiful countryside (and the cows). The pool was perfect every day, especially late afternoons, while watching the sun set.
We visited mny places (Perigueux, Bordeaux etc.), we cycled, went horse riding and played golf, and always enjoyed returning to our cottage.

"Our stay in "The Cottage" has been truly brilliant.
Everything you could possibly need was here - comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, cosy sofas and then all you could possibly hope for within the grounds! I don't think a day went by that we didn't use the pool or the café. The perfect setting to enjoy the local cheese, wine and everything the region has to offer (but mostly the cheese and the wine!) "Our two week stay has been absolutely perfect.
"Stable End" was a complete home from home and the communal areas and open space have made the holiday for all the family - on several days we have not ventured very far at all. We have eaten out a few times but with such a relaxed holiday and great view, we have spent most evenings here enjoying the food from local markets.
We have also enjoyed exploring the area; Perigueux, canoeing, pretty castles, St. Emilion and the beach at Arcachon and sand dunes at Pyla. Thank you for your help during our stay. We would love to come back and will recommend you to our friends."

"We are a family of 3 and "Stable End" was perfect for our stay. We found the beds extremely comfortable and the lounge stayed cool throughout the hot sunny days. We enjoyed the two patios, particularly having breakfast (croissants from the local boulangerie). Our son was happy with the gym equipment and we used the bikes to explore the area. We found plenty to see locally - chateaux, vineyards, quaint traditional towns and markets.

"We had a perfect one week stay at The Bread Oven in May. The cottage is gorgeous - spacious, well-decorated with everything you might need. That said, we spent most of our time in the grounds - playing volleyball and table tennis, using the bikes provided and enjoying the good-sized pool. We only left the grounds to go to the excellent local markets!
The property was clean and well-maintained. We travelled with our one year daughter and we were provided with everything we might need, including a cot, lots of toys, a walker, towels and pool gear.
Mike and Mandy were extremely warm and helpful from start to finish, providing advice and help whenever we needed it.
All in all, a thoroughly relaxing break in a gorgeous venue...."
