Spend the morning at the beautiful 16th century Monbazillac Chateau, where you will discover the history of the chateau, some local and regional history and learn about the vineyards, followed by wine tasting to discover the wines grown in the Chateau’s own vineyards.
We will then drive you to an excellent French bistro where you can enjoy a leisurely three course lunch overlooking the beautiful views of the surrounding vineyards leading down to the town of Bergerac.
The afternoon will be spent at a reputable wine producer where you will have a guided tour of the vineyards, learn the secrets of their production, hear about the rich history of this estate, stretching back over more than 8 centuries and then have the opportunity to taste their award-winning Pécharmant red wine.
As you are being driven to and from Gites Boutique, you can of course participate in all the wine-tasting and even enjoy some regional wine with your lunch!
